TIPS:
This song is in '3' - three beats a measure.
Uppercase letters represent chords - lowercase letters represent
single notes.
Example: 'Bm' is a chord, while 'a b a' are notes.
Intro:
a b d Bm Bm
5/0 5/2 4/0
G a b d e A Asus4 A
5/0 5/2 4/0 4/2
The numbers represent the notes by string/fret: 5/0 = fifth string, no fret.
Each chord in the intro receives 3 beats. The 'a b d' is played in three beats as is 'a b d e'.
All the single notes get one beat - except for the 'a b d e' - the 'a b' are played in one beat.
You can play the 'a b d e' thing while pretty much holding a G chord - use your 2nd finger to play the notes.
Rest of the song:
All the single notes get one beat .
The 'out on the sea' part with no chords (or with chords too) is:
f# g a
3/4 4/0 4/2 G
out on the sea
a b a Em
5/0 5/2 5/0
a b d Bm
5/0 5/2 4/0
The numbers represent the notes by string/fret: 5/0 = fifth string, no frets.
Chord symbols do not represent number of beats, except in the intro.
I hope you enjoyed playing this piece.
