TIPS:
All of Song:
All of the chord symbols represent 4 beats and each line represents 8 beats - except the 'C7 C7 F7' chords during the short harp solo at the end - C7s gets a total of 6 1/2 beats and F7 gets 1 1/2 beats.
Play 'boogie' style:
When playing the C chords, use your pinkie to pick up the 6ths and 7ths of the chord. Start with the C chord below as beat 1.
C7
1 -|| ----1----------------------------8
2 -|| ----1----------------------------8
3 -|| ---------2-----------------------9
4 -|| ----1----------------------------8
5 -|| -------------3------------------10
6 -|| ----1----------------------------8
On the first beat the pinkie is not used, on the 2nd beat place pinkie on 5/12, on 3rd beat place pinkie on 5/13, on the 4th beat pinkie on 5/12. Do this over and over for the blues style. You should be playing these notes:
1 -|| ----8------8------8-----8-------
2 -|| ----8------8------8-----8-------
3 -|| ----9------9------9-----9-------
4 -|| ----8------8------8-----8-------
5 -|| ---10----12-----13----12------
6 -|| ----8------8------8-----8-------
Play your best blues rhythm on this one, play it fast, and.... turn it up!
I hope you enjoyed playing this one.
